Walking In Solidarity
Last Friday, the Betty Cares Foundation and Sass Clothing teams joined Respect Victoria's Walk Against Family Violence in Melbourne. The Walk Against Family Violence was powerful hearing from victim-survivors, and hopeful with so many people uniting to create a future where everyone is safe, equal and respected.
Domestic violence is the number one reason women in crisis receive our Betty Cares clothing packs. We joined the Walk Against Family Violence to stand in solidarity with victim-survivors.
The Walk Against Family Violence marked the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence – a global campaign for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
Betty Cares Foundation believes change is possible and are hopeful for a safe future for all.
